The Los Angeles Rams are considering trading quarterback Matthew Stafford, with the Las Vegas Raiders and New York Giants among the interested teams.

As of February 28, 2025, Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is at the center of significant NFL trade discussions. The Rams are meeting with Stafford to deliberate his future, while both the Las Vegas Raiders and New York Giants have expressed interest, reportedly proposing two-year contracts valued between $90 and $100 million. Reports indicate that the Raiders and Stafford’s representatives have agreed on contract terms, but any potential move would necessitate the Rams either matching the offer or negotiating suitable compensation with Las Vegas. Additionally, recent interactions at the NFL Scouting Combine have sparked questions about possible rule violations involving Stafford and Tom Brady, though the NFL has stated that no tampering rules were violated. A resolution regarding Stafford’s future is anticipated soon, with all options, including his return to the Rams, remaining possible.
