Świątek i Alcaraz pozostają dość skromni, jeśli chodzi o swoje cele i oczekiwania.

Świątek i Alcaraz pozostają dość skromni, jeśli chodzi o swoje cele i oczekiwania.

After Evert’s take on Swiatek and Alcaraz, one person seemingly didn’t agree with the part about Swiatek and Alcaraz bringing a higher level to the game.  “Congrats to both, but I wouldn’t say either of them has brought a ‘higher level to the game’. Serena at her best? Roger, Rafa, Novak?” one person asked Evert.

Meanwhile, Swiatek and Alcaraz stay pretty humble in their goals and expectations. After lifting her fifth Grand Slam title – instead of making a big prediction for herself – Swiatek provided a very humble answer, saying she already achieved a lot more than she ever expected.

“I already achieved much more than I ever expected, so I am just doing everything step by step really, enjoying every match and every title,” Swiatek told Taylor.

On the other side – after Alcaraz was asked about catching Novak Djokovic’s record of 24 Grand Slam – he said those numbers were “unbelievable” and it was too early for him to speak about that prospect.
