Never forget when Eagles star C.J. Gardner-Johnson trolled Deebo Samuel

Posted on March 3, 2025 by ADMIN

It’s funny when you consider how much can change in a year. Remember when the Philadelphia Eagles buried the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game and the Niners just couldn’t stop talking about it? Philly lost Super Bowl 57, and San Fran celebrated like they had won it.

We won’t call out any names… No, we will actually… Other than seeing Philly lose, one of the most disappointing things about that was seeing Deebo Samuel and company show zero class by losing. Karma is something though.

The Niners avenged their loss to Philly during the following regular season. They advanced to football’s biggest stage, where they felt they belonged.

What happened? They lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 58, and we’ll be honest with you. We cracked a smile and threw some shade on social media.

That’s right friends. Sometimes, social media brings the worst out of all of us. That was our chance to be petty, and we enjoyed it.

We started this by saying ‘much can change in a year’ though. Guess what? Deebo is headed to the Washington Commanders!

We’re reminded of C.J. Gardner-Johnson’s epic Deebo Samuel troll as the Commanders add another weapon.

We’ll hear a lot about extensions and trades during the coming weeks, but nothing can be made official until March 12. That’s when the new league year begins.

We can’t wait, but we already have some movement. One of the top stories is Deebo Samuel will join the Washington Commanders.

All it will take for Philly’s NFC East rival to get the deal done is a 2025 fifth-round draft choice. Philly hasn’t ever harbored the same disdain for the Commanders that they have for the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants, but this Eagles-Commanders thing is about to be vicious.

Speaking of ‘vicious’. We’re reminded of one of the most epic troll jobs of all time. Remember when C.J. Gardner-Johnson set it off on Deebo in an Instagram Live post?

“You ain’t nothing bro! Stop playing!” That’s what did it for us, and no lies were told here. You have to admit. Deebo’s route running could add some polish.

Credit C.J. G.J. for being man enough to show his face. We live in a world where threats from burner accounts on social media are far too common and NFL teams file petitions anonymously.
