Nathan Hindmarsh - Celebrity Speakers

Nathan Hindmarsh, the legendary Parramatta Eels forward, has officially returned to the club—not as a player, but as a co-owner, marking a significant chapter in the club’s history.

Hindmarsh’s association with the Eels began in 1998, and over the next 15 years, he became the club’s most capped player, amassing 330 first-grade appearances. His tenure was marked by numerous accolades, including representing New South Wales and Australia, and earning the Provan-Summons Medal five times as the NRL’s most popular player. In 2018, he was inducted into the Parramatta Eels Hall of Fame .

Following his retirement in 2012, Hindmarsh remained involved with the Eels, offering mentorship and insights to players and staff. His return as a co-owner signifies a deepened commitment to the club’s future .

In the 2025 NRL season, the Eels have faced challenges, currently sitting at the bottom of the ladder with a 3–7 record. Despite these hurdles, the club’s leadership, under head coach Jason Ryles and captain Mitchell Moses, remains focused on rebuilding and revitalizing the team .

Hindmarsh’s return is expected to inspire both the team and supporters, bringing a renewed sense of pride and determination to the Parramatta Eels.
