Ex-Raiders Pro Bowler Reveals That He’s Making Comeback Attempt

Posted on March 7, 2025 by ADMIN

Hunter Renfrow had a very quick fall from grace with the Las Vegas Raiders. He went from catching 103 passes in 2021 and making the Pro Bowl to being a non-factor the next season.

He was cut by the team last offseason and no team signed him. It’s difficult to understand why nobody wanted to sign Renfrow. He’s only 29 and should be cheap. There were rumors circulating online that Renfrow had retired from the NFL and moved on to other career paths.

However, the wide receiver took to social media and set the record straight about his future playing football.

“Just when I thought about making a comeback I get hit with this bombshell…… guess I shouldn’t have started working out again 2 months ago lol,” Renfrow wrote in response to the retirement rumors on X.

Based on this, it sounds like Renfrow is putting in some work to hopefully make an NFL comeback in 2025. It’s hard to imagine no team will at least give him a look. He’s at the very least a good slot receiver.

Renfrow may not have the same speed he did during his Pro Bowl season but he’s a savvy route runner who could at least have value as a practice squad player.
